FR Studio Error "nested exception is: java.lang.NullPointerException"

On : 11.1.2.3.500 version, Configuration/Administration

When attempting to access reports in FR Studio
the following error occurs.

ERROR

'nested exception is:

java.lang.NullPointerException

 

Cause

There is a version mismatch

FR Studio and FR server should be in same version

Solution

1)Uninstall the FR Studio.

2)From EPM Workspace Tools menu ->Install->Financial Reporting Studio, download the executable

3)Install the FR Studio from the new files downloaded.
