FDMEE Error: " Connection To ODI Agent Failed"

Symptoms

Installed FDMEE as a new installation and applied the 11.1.2.3.200 patch to the environment.
When attempting to test the ODI Connection information via the System Settings the connection test fails with error

"Connection to ODI Agent failed"

Cause

Currently the ODI Supervisor password stored in the 'oracle.odi.creadmap' credential store in Weblogic enterprise manager is not correct.

Solution

a) Access Oracle Weblogic Enterprise Manager as http://weblogicadminserver:7001/em
b) Expand FARM_EPM_SYSTEM > Weblogic Domain > EPM System
c) In the right-pane click on the arrow next to EPM system and choose "Credentials"
d) Expand out the 'oracle.odi.creadmap' and edit the SUPERVISOR entry
e) Update the password to SUPERVISOR
f) Log back into the weblogic administrator console and start the OracleDIAgent and it starts successfully.
